In today's news...

Two mice infected with a deadly plague got loose from a laboratory. The FBI is in a panic. The scientists working there said there is a possibility the mice never actually existed to begin with.

I'm impressed by what IBM is doing. They're training employees who want to become teachers, so they can quit their jobs and start teaching. This is brilliant for these reasons:
- Good PR. They're talking about how the US is predicted to have a shortage of math, science and computer teachers. It makes them look altruistic.
- More good PR. They'll have IBM-sympathetic computer-literate people in schools influencing students to become the same.
- Even more PR. It gets rid of employees without the bad publicity layoffs bring.

The new nintendo revolution controllers will be awesome. When I first saw them I wasn't so impressed, since they basically look like remotes, but it looks as if they'll be able to detect all sorts of motion, which would completely change how games are played, in my opinion, making them more intuitive and creative. But I guess we'll have to see.

What news article is this?
I don't know. The remote control idea looks a bit.. meh.
Depends on how good that motion detection would be. If I rotate the remote, would it detect that? if the game allows that movement? Or would it just be the equivalence of the olde tyme laser guns?

The 'nunchaku' idea is pretty cool, I admit, but still a bit weird.
The controller's going to have some finishing touches added to it though, so I may like it better after that.
btw, were the two mice last seen crystal brandy glasses? =P
It should be able to detect rotations in the remote, I heard it'll involve a gyroscope and triangulation (or pyramidation? Since it's in 3d?) It'll be way more complex than the old laser guns. Flying games, for example, would be easier. You'd have all the degrees of freedom, and wouldn't be restricted by thumbpads and so on. You could also move a lot faster. How I'd do it is that I'd have one default position, and you move by moving farther away from the default position, the farther you go, the faster. And truly 3d. Your arm might get sore, though.
Every Nintendo console must have a 'new' Star Wars game that will come with its release. That'll probably be the 500th Rebel X-Wing fighter game ever to be made. oh God.
I've never actually used nintendo.

WHY do I have Pokemon Stadium?!

I own an N64. That thing's a lot of fun. Namely Mario Kart 64. Oh god, that thing is SO much fun.
